Monte Acuto Aged Grappa in a decorated tin box
Cellar
Four generations follow on from one another in the Berta Distillery, which began on 11 July 1866 with the birth of Francesco Berta, up to the ultra-modern distillery at Roccanivo in Casalotto di Mombaruzzo. A philosophy that aims for the highest quality. They select marc from carefully chosen producers, who produce great wines representative of their territory. A distillery in continuous expansion with an ever-increasing focus on innovation to guarantee excellence, as for The Vat Cellar, the Barrique Cellar and the Research and Development Cellar have been built underground: this makes them naturally insulated and allows the temperature to be kept constant without the use of air-conditioning or heating. A natural ventilation system also allows the air to circulate. Grappa ages in perfect harmony with nature.
Description
Monte Acuto was a mysterious rock, a kind of atoll suspended over the sea, all around the contours of the hills that the lined-up pine trees made look like crests of prehistoric beasts. It is from the selection of the best Barbera, Arneis and Nebbiolo marc from this land, from its territory, that it takes shape. A tribute that the Berta family pays to the welcoming and generous place of the Roero. The result. A precious distillate.
