Description

Brolio is the territory owned by the Ricasoli family since 1141, which has been producing wines from it ever since, becoming over time an increasingly faithful and elegant expression of Chianti Classico. This bottle continues the tale of this virtuous path, presenting an important profile both on the nose and in the mouth, recognised by leading Italian and foreign wine magazines.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Ruby red colour to the eye, with slight violet hues. Concentrated and refined, notes of red fruit and sensations of liquorice and aniseed. Medium-bodied on the palate, the tannic texture is skilfully dosed; finish characterised by notes of toasted wood. Its body and velvety harmony encapsulate the qualities of the most appreciated and world-famous Chianti wines. A great wine with an excellent quality/price ratio.

Storage time:

2 to 7 years

Vinification

The bunches of this variety are carefully selected during manual harvesting, and then immediately transported to the wine-making facilities of the Ricasoli 1141 winery. After destemming, the grapes are softly pressed, and the must thus obtained ferments in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature of between 24 and 27 degrees, macerating on the skins for 14-16 days.
