Description
Made from an indigenous grape variety and considered the symbol of Argentine whites, 'Torrontes'. The catena family produces torrontes alamos from north-west Argentina, where some of the highest vineyards in the world are located. The intense mountain sunlight and the purity of the snow melting water of the Andes give it its explosive aromatic and floral character.
Organoleptic characteristics:
The colour is straw yellow with greenish highlights. Fragrances of white flowers (jasmine and rose petals), pineapple, lemon emerge on the nose. Lively and light on the palate, with balanced acidity

Vinification
The grapes are immediately taken to the Alamos winery where they are gently pressed. After pressing, the must is left to rest cold and bottled as soon as it comes out of the press. The temperature-controlled fermentation process then begins in stainless steel tanks. The wine is also matured in steel tanks.
