The Querciabella winery is located in Greve in Chianti, in the cradle of Chianti classico. It was founded in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni, a pioneer of biodynamic and organic farming in Italy, an industrial entrepreneur and lifelong wine enthusiast who bought a single hectare of vineyard on a Tuscan hillside and set about creating an estate that would soon encompass the entire region. Today, Querciabella spreads over about 100 hectares and produces cult supertuscan wines such as Batàr and Camartina, which have won multiple awards from international critics. Querciabella wines are present in 54 countries around the world and represent one of the undisputed pinnacles of Italian oenology.

Organoleptic characteristics:
It has an intense ruby red colour. The nose is rich in sweet aromas of cherry and wild berries with elegant notes of violets and rose petals blending into spices, white pepper and cedar wood.
