Description
In the Valle dItria, the ubiquitous green of the landscape plunges down to the sea, where it turns emerald and kisses the seabed and cliffs. Riccio Verdeca comes from vineyards at 450 metres above sea level, where the land offers the perfect pedoclimatic conditions for producing excellent white wines
Organoleptic characteristics:
Brilliant straw yellow with slight greenish hues. On the nose, the olfactory spectrum is reminiscent of green apple, medlar and pear, followed by perceptions of bergamot, lychee and pineapple and finally pleasant floral hints of elder and hawthorn. There is also a herbaceous note of rosemary and sage and a slightly almondy undertone in the finish. The taste is very delicate, suave and citrusy. There is a lashing but well-balanced freshness with a Karst mineral note. Excellent dynamic and juicy palate development with a slightly savoury finish.
Storage time:
3-4 years
Vinification
The grapes are carefully selected. During the course of alcoholic fermentation, the grapes also undergo maceration on the skins; fulling is then carried out for the correct fermentation process and extraction of organic compounds from the skins, which are fundamental both for the aromatic profile of the wines and for their refinement
