Description
An extraordinary Chardonnay Premier Cru born in the hills of Meursault (21 Côte d'Or) from vineyards facing east. The vines at the top benefit from the rock, those in the middle from the more generous soil, while those at the bottom have less dry soil. A wine to be pampered for hours.
Organoleptic characteristics:
bright, golden yellow colour. Its tone is intense and vibrant. Intense aromas of white-fleshed fruits such as pear and apple blend with subtle notes of exotic fruits such as pineapple and mango. Nuances of vanilla, fresh butter and grilled hazelnuts add a gourmet and elegant dimension to the overall profile. The sip reveals a rich and velvety palate. A velvety texture caresses the palate, while persistent fruity flavours unfold. White-fleshed fruits are once again present, accompanied by refreshing citrus notes such as lemon and mandarin. A subtle mineral character brings complexity, while the delicate presence of oak makes itself felt with notes of vanilla and toast. The wine is well balanced, with integrated acidity and a long, harmonious finish.
Storage time:
2-10 years
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at the optimal time of ripeness to ensure the best quality. After the harvest, a gentle pressing takes place, followed by a controlled fermentation that preserves the grapes' unique aromas.
