Cellar
Lungarotti has made wine history in Italy and around the world, establishing itself as the emblematic winery of Umbrian wine excellence. A success story that continues from generation to generation, based on quality viticulture, but also on the ability to build a virtuous circuit around wine, centred on exceptional hospitality, the enhancement of historical and cultural heritage and authentic experiences in contact with nature. A universe of values that constitute the Lungarotti Experience.
Description
In the early 2000s, Lungarotti began experimenting with white varieties that would maintain the correct acidity even in increasingly hot summers. Vermentino gave the best result. In this wine it is blended with Chardonnay, which was introduced in Umbria by Giorgio Lungarotti in the early 1970s.
The name 'L'U' is given by the initial letters of 'L'Umbria', the same as LUNGAROTTI: once again emphasising the strong link with the product's land of origin
