Description
Sangiovese comes from lowland vineyards that make it particularly suitable for the production of a rosé.
Its nautical appeal and refreshing taste make it an excellent galley wine, but it is still a cool wine that is easy to drink all year round at any latitude.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Colour: pale salmon pink with subtle violet hues.
Nose: fresh, floral, delicate and well-balanced, reminiscent of rose, wisteria and star anise with fruity notes (morello cherry and raspberry) on the finish.
Taste: fresh and elegantly mineral, it has a savoury finish and a soft aftertaste due to the incompletely completed fermentation.
Storage time:
1-3 years
Vinification
after limited maceration and subsequent rapid separation from the skins, the must is fermented in steel at a controlled temperature (15°C).
