The Bleeding Heart Rum Co., founded by Stephen Carroll of the UK, has launched for the first time a premium rum produced in the Philippines, one of the largest markets for rum production and consumption. Don Papa Rum (launched in 2012) is sold in award-winning packaging, French 70 cl glass bottle, Portuguese cork, Italian-printed label, brand image developed by New York-based studio Stranger & Stranger.
Description
Rum Don Papa 7 Anni is the most classic example of the art of distillation brought to perfection. Produced from molasses of the finest sugar cane from the Philippine island of Negros.
Very limited production and aged for at least 7 years in American ex-bourbon oak.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Amber colour. On the nose: light with notes of fruit. Its taste is soft and delicate, with notes of vanilla, honey and candied fruit.
