Antonella Corda founded her winery in 2010, when she inherited her family's winemaking tradition. Building on her expertise in the field, she tended new vineyards and created a winery in Serdiana, her mother's homeland, capable of producing wines of the highest quality.
Passion, tradition, innovation.
Love and respect for the land, dedication to work, the ability to combine the family's centuries-old tradition in viticulture with innovation. Cantina Antonella Corda was born as a boutique winery, the expression of the will of a young agronomist who has given new life to the immense value handed down to her: the passion for wine.
Loving the earth means first of all respecting it like a mother. Antonella Corda recognises this value and believes in sustainable cultivation as a means of integrating human activity with the characteristics of the land, to return it intact to future generations. This awareness goes hand in hand with Antonella's experience in the management of the wine-growing system, and translates into the choice of organic fertilisation and biological control actions, as well as sustainable irrigation systems and renewable energy.
Description
Antonella Corda's Cannonau is an elegant, fresh and delicate version of this iconic Sardinian red. Despite ageing in wood, the wine retains a notable varietal typicity, with a pleasant fruitiness, accompanied by an aromatic array on the notes of aromatic and officinal herbs. Far from the models of powerful, concentrated reds, this is a label that surprises precisely because of its pleasant smoothness, immediacy and expressive authenticity. It is a Cannonau with a refined style, perfectly consistent with the philosophy of Antonella Corda's wines.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Thanks to the use of gentle maceration and the discreet use of unroasted barrels, the finesse of the varietal aromas remains intact. Cherry, raspberry, blackberry, rose and a delicate spicy note of white pepper. The decisive freshness harmonises with the warm notes and the exceptional softness of the tannins.
Storage time:
4-5 years
Vinification
fermentation in steel tanks with gentle maceration on the skins
