Description
Belle Léone 2012 is one of the most representative reds from Domaine Peyre Rose, a historic Languedoc winery created by Marlène Soria. It is a rather rare wine, produced in small quantities and designed to evolve slowly over time thanks to a great capacity for ageing.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Deep red with intense reflections. The nose opens with complex aromas of plum and black cherry, accompanied by notes of garrigue, tobacco, leather and liquorice, with nuances of cocoa, coffee and a light smoky touch. In the mouth it is structured and concentrated, with soft, well-integrated tannins.
Storage time:
Over 15 years
Vinification
Fermentation takes place slowly in cement tanks, followed by natural malolactic fermentation in the same containers.
