The Ceretto winery was born in the 1930s: Riccardo Ceretto, who owned no vineyards, vinified by buying grapes from others. The turning point coincided with the entry into the company of his sons Bruno and Marcello, who brought with them an innovative thought for the time: the importance of the land. In the 1960s, Bruno and Marcello began to map out the land from which the best wines came, and to purchase vineyards in the best locations in the Langhe and Roero, including some of the best Barolo and Barbaresco crus. They would never leave the land again.

Description

Barbaresco from the extraordinary Piedmontese winery Ceretto is the fruit of a selection of grapes from different vineyards planted in Treiso and Asili, in the province of Cuneo. It is a refined and elegant wine with a strong flavour that best represents the traditions and viticulture of the area.

Organoleptic characteristics:

It has a garnet red colour with orange highlights. The nose is complex, with hints of dried flowers, well in harmony with small berries, cinnamon, cloves, pepper and tobacco. Fresh and savoury on the palate with full, enveloping tannins.

Storage time:

10 years

Vinification

In red, traditional with long maceration on the skins
