The Ceretto winery was born in the 1930s: Riccardo Ceretto, who owned no vineyards, vinified by buying grapes from others. The turning point coincided with the entry into the company of his sons Bruno and Marcello, who brought with them an innovative thought for the time: the importance of the land. In the 1960s, Bruno and Marcello began to map out the land from which the best wines came, and to purchase vineyards in the best locations in the Langhe and Roero, including some of the best Barolo and Barbaresco crus. They would never leave the land again.

Description

The Blangè wine, son of a strongly characterising territory, that of the Roero. It is the white side of the Piedmont wines of the Ceretto winery. The Blangè made from Arneis grapes is a product that marked an epoch, revolutionising Langhe oenology dedicated until then to the exclusive valorisation of red grape varieties. Fruit and minerality, fragrance and calibrated freshness coexist in a white that has made enjoyability and transversality its trademark.

Organoleptic characteristics:

It has an intense straw yellow colour. The nose expresses aromas of pear and tropical fruit. On the palate it is balanced, fresh, savoury and fruity.
