A Piedmontese white wine with a troubled and at the same time fascinating history. A long-forgotten wine, relegated to a few, scattered rows of vines, almost extinct: a true oenological relic that only the far-sightedness of a few producers were able to save from abandonment. The earliest documents that tell us of Nascetta, also known as "Nas-cetta" or "Anascetta", tell of an extraordinary wine, a very delicate grape that can be used with satisfaction as a blend "together with Moscato bianco and Favorita". Cultivated on a total area of 20 hectares, for a yield of 55 quintals of grapes, it has crossed the borders of Novello, where, however, its highest expressions remain, in purity.
The main characteristic of this wine is its versatility and adaptability to different types of vinification. In steel or in wood, the vine maintains its character and is able to express its territoriality, while allowing the producer to leave his own signature
