The name ALEIS is the plural version of the Latin 'ALEA', the meaning of which is related to risk, the so-called throwing of dice:
"Alea iacta est'... in other words: the challenge is set. In fact, Aleis pure Falanghina is the result of a challenge: being able to obtain an exceptional synthesis of this varietal wine in an organic way, without the use of chemicals, with spontaneous fermentation, indigenous yeasts and very limited interventions in the cellar, is a constant risk. Aleis perfectly expresses all the fruity and mineral character of Falanghina. It is a cru obtained exclusively from a single vineyard.
