The Antinori have dedicated themselves to the art of wine-making for more than six hundred years: ever since Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri in 1385.
For 26 generations, the family has always directly managed this activity with innovative and sometimes courageous choices, but always maintaining unaltered respect for tradition and for the territory.
Every vintage, every soil, every idea is a new beginning, a new search for ever higher quality margins. As Marquis Piero likes to say: "ancient roots play an important role in our philosophy, but they have never inhibited our innovative spirit".
Description
Sangiovese and other complementary varieties to pay homage to a historic label and a wine with a long tradition: the Villa Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva. With the inauguration of the Antinori wine cellar in Chianti Classico, the family wished to reinterpret a Tuscan classic, with its unmistakable style and recognised quality, through a Riserva that is both delicate and at the same time decisive and elegant.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Villa Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva 2019 has a ruby red colour. The nose expresses notes of plum and quince well in harmony with spicy hints of bay, cocoa and white pepper and balsamic sensations of eucalyptus and mint. The palate is lively, characterised by a soft entry and a savoury, persistent finish, where all the aromas perceived on the nose return.
Storage time:
3-6 years
Vinification
