Cellar
The Masi winery produces and distributes Amarone and other traditional wines typical of the Venetian region.
The use of indigenous grapes and methods and the research and experimentation activities of its Technical Group make it one of the best known Italian producers of excellent wines in the world.
Its history began in 1772, when the Boscaini family purchased valuable vineyards in the small valley called 'Vaio dei Masi'. This gave its name to the winery, which is still owned by the family and which, after more than 200 years of passionate work, now actively operates with the sixth and seventh generation.
A reference in the art of Amarone production worldwide, Masi constantly passes down and innovates the technique of drying the grapes, known since Roman times.
For more than forty years it has undertaken an ambitious project to enhance historic wine estates, collaborating with:
the Conti Serego Alighieri, descendants of the poet Dante, owners of the estate with the longest history and tradition in Valpolicella
the Conti Bossi Fedrigotti, a prestigious Trentino griffe
Canevel, producer of sparkling wines of excellence in Valdobbiadene.
Masi also owns the organically managed estates Poderi del Bello Ovile in Tuscany and Masi Tupungato in Argentina.
The Group boasts products that are known and appreciated in more than 120 countries. Masi is a partner in associations and organisations that express the excellence of Made in Italy in the world: Fondazione Altagamma, Comitato Leonardo, Istituto Grandi Marchi, Le Famiglie Storiche.
