The Cantina di Bolzano was founded in 1908 when 30 farmers founded a winegrowers' cooperative in the district of Gries with the common goal of vinifying and marketing the indigenous grape varieties of Trentino. The current winery, founded in 2001, has 224 families united by common values. A winery that in a short time has managed to make a very prolific name for itself in the South Tyrolean wine industry. With currently 15 award-winning wines in its range, from Gambero Rosso and Falstaff, the potential of the young winery is undeniable. Dedicated to the philosophy of viticulture as an art in harmony with nature, the winery attaches great importance to the naturalness of its wines. This conviction is reflected in the great wines of the cru line: wines that, thanks to the varied soils and microclimates of the different vineyards, mature with a strong character and distinct typicality. Vigorous and noble reds are contrasted by fresh and refined whites.
