L'Azienda Agricola Attanasio Giuseppe passionately continues the traditions of a typical Salento winegrowing family. The large star vaults of a late 19th century building house the cooperage and winemaking facilities. Since 2000, the Primitivo grapes have been harvested using the traditional method and come exclusively from the estate vineyards, about 6 hectares of Apulian alberello vines in the Manduria countryside, personally tended by Giuseppe Attanasio with over seventy years of experience. With a production of just 15,000 bottles a year, he looks after every stage of the production chain, from the vineyards to processing and bottling, always ready to reconstruct the history of the product, raw materials and processes.

This is an austere and sumptuous interpretation that the Attanasio winery offers of this indigenous grape variety of the region.
