The Antinori have dedicated themselves to the art of wine-making for more than six hundred years: ever since Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri in 1385.
For 26 generations, the family has always directly managed this activity with innovative and sometimes courageous choices, but always maintaining unaltered respect for tradition and for the territory.
Every vintage, every soil, every idea is a new beginning, a new search for ever higher quality margins. As Marquis Piero likes to say: "ancient roots play an important role in our philosophy, but they have never inhibited our innovative spirit".
Description
Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino from the Marchesi Antinori winery is an intense wine with great personality. The philosophy oriented towards the large barrel, capable of preserving the extraordinary integrity of the Sangiovese fruit and giving Brunello its characteristic vibrant elegance, finds an extraordinary expression in Brunello Pian delle Vigne.
Organoleptic characteristics:
The wine has an intense ruby red colour. The nose is complex, with notes of ripe red fruit, reminiscent of cherries, well in harmony with floral hints. Sensations of chocolate, tobacco, clove and both aromatic and balsamic herbs complete the bouquet.

5-15 years
