Château Petrus, is a winery located in the eastern part of Pomerol, Bordeaux and named after the Latin version of St. Peter. It produces the world's most famous and recognised wine, Petrus.

Description

Petrus is the most famous, but also the most prestigious of all Bordeaux red wines, a myth among myths. Produced from 100% Merlot grapes and a small percentage of Cabernet Franc. It is an excellent wine with absolutely unique olfactory and taste characteristics. It is concentrated, prodigious, voluptuous with silky tannins and an unmistakable aftertaste. A remarkable vintage with great ageing potential.

Organoleptic characteristics:

It has an intense ruby red colour. The nose is broad, deep and complex with notes of ripe red fruits intertwined with hints of coffee, sweet spices and chocolate. On the palate it is powerful and prodigious, voluptuous with silky tannins and an unmistakable aftertaste. A remarkable vintage with great ageing potential.
