The Terrecarsiche winery of Nicola Insalata, founded in 1939, is the result of a strong family tradition. It is located in central Apulia, in Castellana Grotte. It produces the Typical Geographical Indication and Controlled Designation of Origin wines of Gioia del Colle and Valle D'Itria. The company's wines include a Gioia del Colle Primitivo, Fanova, from vineyards located in Castellana Grotte and Acquaviva delle Fonti. The company's overall production is around 500,000 bottles per year.
Description
Obtained from a careful selection of 100% Nero di Troia grapes from the Castel del Monte area. It is a violet-red coloured red wine with ample and harmonious aromas, it goes well with mixed roasts.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Intense red colour with orange and violet hues, intense bouquet with hints of violets and black fruit, good body on the palate, soft, slightly spicy.
