The history of the Marzadro Distillery began in 1949 in Brancolino di Nogaredo, in the heart of Vallagarina, in Trentino. It is an evocative land, furrowed by vineyards 'bred' with ancestral care, climbing towards the mountain slopes, starting from the valley floor dotted with fruit trees. A pioneering beginning, made up of tenacity, stubbornness and many promises, over time kept. Even today, after three generations, Distilleria Marzadro is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in Italian grappa, a brand recognised worldwide.
Description
Grappa created to express the utmost smoothness of a distillate, born from the careful distillation in discontinuous steam stills of the marc of Muscat, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. The typical grape varieties of the region, the temperature range of the land and the resulting aromas give it unique and distinct organoleptic qualities.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Luminous golden colour, the nose is aromatic, intense and elegant, with hints of flowers, dehydrated yellow fruit, honey and vanilla.
The sip is soft, round, warm, rich and enveloping
Storage time:
up to 30 years
Vinification
Bain-marie distillation in a discontinuous steam still of Muscat, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer marc.
