"Ca' del Bosco", one of the most prestigious wine houses in the Franciacorta area, a symbol of Made in Italy excellence in the world. Its story began in the mid-1960s, when Annamaria Clementi bought "Ca' del Bosco", a small house in the hills of Erbusco, two hectares of property immersed in a dense forest of oak and chestnut trees. It has always been the source of inspiration for her son Maurizio who, thanks to his passion, transformed this small house into a wine excellence, a leader in the production of Franciacorta.
Description
Franciacorta DOCG Cuvée Prestige Edition 46 from the Ca' del Bosco winery is a sparkling wine produced with the classic method from Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero grapes from 228 certified organic vineyards. It is an elegant, fresh and fruity sparkling wine.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a straw yellow colour with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose shows aromas of exotic fruit, citrus and almonds. In the mouth it is very elegant, lively, savoury and balanced.
Storage time:
5-7 years
Vinification
After crushing in the absence of oxygen, all the musts of the base wines ferment in thermo-conditioned steel tanks and
here they remain until the following March. Seven months of ageing are then necessary for the wine to clarify, mature and bring out the character of the original vineyards to the full. The wines are then skilfully blended in the 'magic rite' of cuvée creation. Only after ageing on the lees for a minimum of 2 years can this Franciacorta express all its richness and identity.
