In 1907, a small group of winegrowers decided to join forces to improve the quality of their labels, thus giving birth to the San Michele Appiano cooperative winery, which is today a reality that counts around three hundred and fifty members for an annual production that exceeds two million bottles. A veritable colossus, an absolute reference for the entire production world, not only in Alto Adige, that never fails to live up to expectations thanks to a range of unique reliability. From Gewürztraminer to Müller Thurgau, from Sauvignon to Riesling, from Pinot Bianco to Lagrein, each bottle is a perfect synthesis of the varietal from which it was born. Fresh and vibrant wines, characterised by a clear territorial appeal and surprising average quality.
Description
The Chardonnay variety is one of the most renowned of the white grape varieties and prefers warm, sun-kissed exposures. The excellent conditions of the vineyards in the Merol area produce a Chardonnay that is characterised by pleasant fullness, silkiness and a harmonious relationship between acidity and smoothness.

Vinification
the main portion (75%) is fermented in steel vats, the remainder (25%) in wooden barrels
