Description
Barthelot is a maison founded in 1884, located in the heart of the Champagne vineyards. The maison keeps all its vintages in its cellars. This reserve cuvèe is made from a blend of 40% Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay and reserve wine grapes. It comes from the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims and the
Marne Valley.
Organoleptic characteristics:
A clear wine with a light golden yellow hue and
intense reflections, illuminated by a fine string of fine bubbles.
Aromas: powerful nose opening with notes of undergrowth
(fern and moss) and herbal tea, later giving way to
aromas of honey, ripe fruit and fresh mint notes.
Palate: well-balanced structure, immediately soft on the
the palate with notes of apple, pear, redcurrant and
subtle flavours of menthol and aniseed, offering a finish of
great length.
