Caparzo's Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is produced exclusively in the best vintages, from grapes personally selected by oenologist Massimo Bracalente. The grapes
come from vineyards located in the northern area of Montalcino at an altitude of 220 metres above sea level and partly from vineyards located in the south of Montalcino at an altitude of 270 metres above sea level. The Riserva reaches its best expression a few years after bottling. Produced in a limited number of bottles, the Riserva is destined for a
audience of particularly knowledgeable and attentive enthusiasts. A classic and complete reserve capable of awakening unique sensations in the most expert palates. The first vintage of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva Caparzo is dated 1980.
