Description
1 sorso by Mario Bagella Vermentino is a white wine born from a passion for the territory of Sorso, a Sardinian municipality overlooking the sea. A wine that tells the story and emotions of a fascinating and generous land. The guyot-trained vines on sandy soils are exposed to the wind and saltiness, which give the wine a distinct minerality and flavour.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Straw-yellow colour.
The nose releases a fresh and complex bouquet, where notes of peach, almond blossom, toasted nuts and iodine stand out.
The sip is rich and intense, with good acidity and a long aromatic persistence, reminiscent of almond biscuits.
Storage time:
2-5 years
Vinification
Harvesting is done by hand in the first ten days of September, and the wine ferments with indigenous yeasts in steel, in contact with the skins for 12 hours, finishing with 4 months of ageing on the fine lees.
