Domaine LATOUR-GIRAUD is located in Meursault, in the most popular region of Burgundy, that of the Grands Vins Blancs de la Cote de Beaune. It specialises in white wines, which account for 85% of its production. The history of the LATOUR-GIRAUD estate spans three centuries and dates back to the end of the 17th century. The vineyard managed by the Domaine LATOUR-GIRAUD covers approximately ten hectares producing only wines with a controllable designation of origin, of which approximately 85% are white wines and 15% red wines.
Most of the white vineyards are located in the five appellations of the I Cru de Meursault: Les Genevrières, Les Charmes, Les Perrières, Les Bouchères and Le Poruzot. With 2.5Ha in Meursault Genevrières, Domaine LATOUR-GIRAUD is the most important owner of this superb 1er Cru. It also owns a 1er Cru plot on the northern edge of Puligny-Montrachet, with a Champs-Canet climate. The complex is completed by plots in the Meursault designation such as Le Limozin, Les Narvaux and Clos du Cromin.
