In 1997, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, president of the advisory board of Baroness Philippe de Rothschild SA, and Eduardo Guilisasti Tagle, president of Viña Concha y Toro SA, signed a partnership agreement with the aim of creating an exceptional Franco-Chilean wine called Almaviva.
Produced under the joint technical supervision of both partners, the first vintage has been an immediate international success since its launch in 1998.
