Cellar
"Ca' del Bosco", one of the most prestigious wine houses in the Franciacorta area, a symbol of Made in Italy excellence in the world. Its story began in the mid-1960s, when Annamaria Clementi bought "Ca' del Bosco", a small house in the hills of Erbusco, two hectares of property immersed in a dense forest of oak and chestnut trees. It has always been the source of inspiration for her son Maurizio who, thanks to his passion, transformed this small house into a wine excellence, a leader in the production of Franciacorta.
Description
The Annamaria Clementi Extra Brut rosé from the Ca' del Bosco winery is a Franciacorta sparkling wine made with the Metodo Classico using Pinot Noir grapes from a few selected historic vineyards and a careful maceration of just a few hours. In accordance with our winemaking method, the grapes are hand-picked into small crates, promptly codified and cooled in cold rooms. Each bunch is selected by expert eyes and hands. This is a Franciacorta of extreme finesse, elegance and softness. It is an unforgettable, luxurious sparkling wine.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a deep salmon pink colour. The nose presents a broad and articulate bouquet rich in notes of pastry, berries, dried fruit and citrus fruits. In the mouth it is complex, rich, elegant savoury with a very long finish.
Storage time:
10-15 years
Vinification
A short maceration of the grapes at a temperature of 14°C to obtain that particular intense pink colour and extremely fine aromatic profile. All vinification phases of the different base wines take place in small oak barrels made from selected woods and matured for at least 3 years and stored in deep, cool underground cellars. Alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation and barrel ageing last a total of 8 months. Annamaria Clementi Rosé is born from the art of blending base wines from the 3 historic vineyards by selecting only the wine from the best barrels.
