The Viteadovest winery of oenologist Vincenzo Angileri is located in the Marsala area. The winery's land is spread over the municipalities of Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, specifically seven hectares divided into nine different areas that have been cultivated with vines for more than a century. Almost all the vines are bush-trained, with low yields per hectare. The grapes grown are Nero d'Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Grillo and Catarratto. Production is around 60 thousand bottles per year. All Vincenzo wines are natural, made from healthy grapes grown in the field without pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilisers and processed in the cellar without the use of additives and oenological aids.
Description
Vincenzo Alighieri of Vite ad Ovest immerses us in a true portrait of north-western Sicily with his wines. The vineyards, located between Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, range from red and white wines to extraordinary oxidative liquids, capable of virtuously defying time. The white Vite Ad Ovest is made from a typical grape blend consisting mainly of Grillo and a small portion of Cataratto, from 20-30 year old vines in the Marsala area, bush-trained. In the vineyard the dictates of organic farming are followed, using only a little copper and sulphur as an aid. A white wine with a taste of the sea.
Organoleptic characteristics:

2- 6 years
