The winery is designed to "integrate" perfectly into its host territory, the immense natural heritage of the Murgia.
Architecturally inspired by the De Laurentis factory - which, with its splendid cross vaults, has stood alone on a hill in nearby Santeramo since the end of the 19th century - it reflects the desire to preserve a certain harmony between design and landscape.
The use of autochthonous materials, such as tuff and mazzaro, has made it possible to realise a project in full harmony with the evocative power of nature, integrating the structure with its surroundings.
The result is a winery that is also a true habitat in balance with our extraordinary landscape.
LOVE FOR THE LAND IS OUR PHILOSOPHY
We cultivate our vineyards with full respect for environmental biodiversity: a philosophy that has been with us since day one and which led us to obtain organic certification in 1996, among the first wineries in Apulia.
Since then, we have never abandoned our dual mission: to safeguard the health of the consumer by producing healthier wines and, at the same time, that of the land by rediscovering and enhancing native varieties.
Our investments in a highly technological vinification and sparkling plant allow us to use less than the 50% of sulphur dioxide allowed by organic regulations.
A real innovation in production protocol that culminated in 2016 with the birth of two wines completely free of added sulphites: Le Dritte Aglianico and Le Dritte Greco.
Hence, our even more ambitious goal for the coming years: the production without added sulphites of the entire range of COLLI DELLA MURGIA wines.
Description
A dry, warm and smooth wine. A great freshness supports a surprising minerality. Its sapidity helps redraw the map of Apulian white wines. A full-bodied, balanced, intense and very persistent wine.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Crystalline, straw yellow with greenish reflections that hint at golden hues that evolve with time. Intense and complex. The nose has fruity notes of exotic fruit: mango, lychee and passion fruit, but also yellow peach, apricot and a very delicate pink grapefruit; the range of floral notes is broad, with the Mediterranean scrub in great evidence. Thyme, rosemary and wild flowers win out over all.
Storage time:
1-3 years
Vinification
Cold static decantation and fermentation at 16° for a fortnight
