Cellar
In the beautiful valley of Roseau stands the St Lucia distillery, born in the '1950s from the union of two distilleries,
one in Dennery, linked to the Barnard family's plantation and one in Roseau belonging to the Geest family. It was on the site of the latter that the long tradition of St. Lucia began, the birth of which also sanctioned the corporate union of the families of the two original distilleries.
The Geest remained partners until 1992 when the Barnards took over the shares and then brought in Trinidad's Angostura Ltd. in 1997.
Since 2005 at the helm of the St Lucia Distillers Group of Companies is Clico with Laurie Barnard, the third generation of rum makers.
