Valentini remains one of the oldest and greatest names in Italian oenology. They are masters of traditional winemaking. The Valentini winery is located in Loreto Aprutino in the province of Pescara. It is of Spanish origin and dates back to 1650, when the Bourbons ruled southern Italy. Edoardo Valentini, recognised as one of Italy's greatest natural wine growers, produced wine for sale from the 1956 vintage until his death in 2006. Today, his son Francesco Paolo faithfully continues the rigorous production of the family wine line. Only 50,000 bottles are produced each year, divided between Trebbiano, Cerasuolo and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, which are sold out immediately.
