Podere Giodo Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is a red wine of extraordinary finesse and complexity, made solely from Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown in a single vineyard of about 1.5 hectares located in the heart of Montalcino. It has a deep, brilliant ruby colour; on the nose it releases articulate aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, interwoven with elegant spicy notes, floral notes of violets and hints of morello cherries, currants and aromatic herbs typical of the Mediterranean maquis. In the mouth it is balanced and enveloping, with soft, smooth tannins, a lively citrus freshness and a harmonious structure, enhanced by careful ageing in 700-litre French oak barrels. The 2019 vintage stands out for its intensity, depth and long persistence, offering an authentic and refined expression of Brunello di Montalcino. Podere Giodo was born from the talent and vision of Tuscan oenologist Carlo Ferrini and is located in the heart of the appellation, near the charming medieval village of Sant'Angelo in Colle.
