The winery was founded in 1896 in Provence by Marcel Ott, a young graduate in agronomic engineering from Alsace. Marcel Ott bought several estates and began restructuring them with the firm ambition of creating great Provençal wines from noble grape varieties. Today, 120 years later, Jean-François Ott has dedicated his life to his ancestor's love for the site. In 2004, Domaines Ott* joined forces with Louis Roederer and its fabulous selection of wine craftsmen. Domaines Ott* wines are produced between three estates in Provence: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan. Each of these estates has its own charm and personality.
Description
Cotes de Provence AOC Rosé 'BY OTT ' 2021 is a rosé wine that perfectly represents the style of French Provençal wines. This very pleasant and fresh wine was created by the OTT family from Grenache 62%, Cinsault 27%, Syrah 6% and Mourvèdre 5% grapes.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a brilliant colour, between pink and peach. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and dominated by aromas of vineyard peach and redcurrant. On the palate, the attack is fresh and lively, with a pleasantly balanced volume, silky, with hints of lemon; the finish is joined by mirabelle plum and cardamom
