Cellar
The wine cellar Castellare di Castellina was born in Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico, from the union of four estates (Castellare, Caselle, San Niccolò and Le Case) created by Paolo Panerai with the aim of producing wine of the best possible quality. It was the 1970s when the so-called Renaissance of Italian wine had begun. From the very beginning, the famous Tuscan winery made a great contribution to the 'Renaissance', bringing tradition and innovation together. Tradition in the care of the vines and the land, distinguished between campi and sodi (where campi are the easiest soils to work and sodi the hardest but best plots for growing vines), in the decision to still produce wine according to the Tuscan government method, to respect Chianti Classico by using only indigenous vines, and to produce a great wine, recognised internationally as one of the greatest reds in the world, using only indigenous Tuscan vines.
