Cellar

Regnard is one of the oldest wine cellars in Burgundy. It was founded by Zéphir Régnard in the second half of the 19th century. Production is developed in the Pouilly Fuissé area, in the historic Clos du Pavillon where the cellars dating back to 1755 are located. In 1984, the wine cellar was bought by the De Ladoucette family and underwent major renovations during which the vineyards were restored, of which seven plots are classified as Grand Cru.

Description

Chablis 'Grand Régnard' 2020 from Maison Régnard is an excellent French white wine. The wine was produced from pure Chardonnay grapes that were selected from the best plots all located in the commune of Chablis. It is a bottle that harks back to ancient bottles from the 17th century. The Grand Régnard is produced each year, in limited quantities, from a selection of the best crus to bring out the best characteristics of the area using only the first pressing.

Organoleptic characteristics:

It has an intense straw-yellow colour with apricot and rennet apple aromas. On the palate it is round and ample, expressing fat and savoury sensations. The finish is intense and persistent and recalls citrus and buttery aromas.
