The Moreau family has been established in Chablis since 1814 and today Louis Moreau represents the sixth generation. After graduating in oenology-viticulture from Fresno State University (California) and working for several wineries in California, Louis returned to Chablis and succeeded his father. Based on his academic training and eager to pass on to future generations a vineyard that respects the environment, Louis practices sustainable viticulture in his plots. He always seeks the most natural solution to preserve the quality of his vines and grapes. Today, Louis Moreau, the producer of great white wines, owns 65 hectares, spread across the different appellations of Chablis: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Crus and Chablis Grands Crus.
Description
Chablis AOC Grand Cru Vaudésir by Louis Moreau is a wonderful and elegant white wine made from Chardonnay grapes. Situated between the Grand Cru Valmur and the Grand Cru Preuses, Vaudésir produces homogenous wines that can be perceived as austere but also fine and floral when young, and that will develop a beautiful, robust and round structure when aged. This is a wine of great personality, harmony and pleasantness.
