The Bodega Aleanna winery is a joint project of Adrianna Catena, daughter of Nicola Catena and Alejandro Vigil, the winemaker of Catena Zapata.
Catena Zapata was founded in 1902, in Argentina. Nicola Catena, the founder of the winery, was a pioneer in the resurrection of Malbec and the discovery of terroirs of extreme altitudes in the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza. In 1902, he planted his first Malbec vineyard in Mendoza. Today, the company is in its fourth generation and produces high-quality wines from six historical vineyards: Angélica, La Pirámide, Nicasia, Domingo, Adrianna and Angélica Sur.
