Blackwoods Distillery was founded in 2002 near the small town of Nesting and its journey has been studded with important international awards.
After an initial period in which it dedicated itself to the production of other spirits, including whisky, Blackwoods made the successful decision to expand its production by launching an excellent line of gin on the market.

Description

Our 40% Vintage Gin is produced in small batches using a traditional copper still. Each vintage of Blackwoods Dry Gin is slightly different, the flavour is determined by the availability of our hand-picked Shetland botanicals. Our master distiller has carefully crafted our award-winning gin to a unique recipe perfected by a select group of bartenders, producing the perfect gin for making great cocktails.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Nose: Fresh, crisp aromas, juniper and spices lead followed by fresh citrus. Palate: Traditional juniper gin with well balanced citrus and spices, accompanied by delicate, sweet floral top notes. The finish: Full flavour with a long finish.
