Founded by 5 pioneers in 1956 in Ville-sur-Arce, today 130 families and 3 generations of winegrowers make up the Maison Chassenay d'Arce. The same spirit of cooperation, solidarity and knowledge transmission still holds true. At the heart of the Côte des Bar, the Chassenay d'Arce vineyard covers 315 hectares and 14 villages spread out along the Arce river. Characterised by a unique landscape that alternates between vineyards and forests, it is also characterised by the diversity of our grape varieties and the integrated viticulture we practise. The spirit of the Maison is at once the spirit of the family, the spirit of the land and the shared needs of our vine growers to produce high quality champagne.

Description

The rosé cuvée is the pure expression of the Cote de Bar terroir. Each cuvée reflects the spirit of the vine, the talent and the passion that animate all the winemakers of the Maison.
Obtained through a scrupulous blending of 60% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Meunier, 2% Pinot Blanc. A champagne of great finesse that enchants already at the sight, and such delicious olfactory nuances of small red fruits. Versatile in table pairing, also to be tried with fruit desserts.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Powder pink with brilliant lustre Expressive on the nose, notes of red fruits, cranberry and raspberry, candied fruit and sweet spices, elegant aromas of violets. In the mouth, the entry is direct but elegant, in which the notes of berries and blood orange return. Silky bubble with a finish of good freshness.

Storage time:

2-4 years

Vinification

Vinification in the pure Champagne tradition, in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Partial blockage of malolactic fermentation. Before bottling, 13% of red wine obtained from the Maison's vineyard grapes is incorporated. Dosage 10 g/l.
