The prestigious Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore wineries are two realities of Collio that can be considered a true dynasty of winegrowers, who have been able to exploit the potential of certain grapes and territories with a vocation for vine-growing - which began in the second half of the 19th century, in Istria.
In the 1930s, after the First World War, Giovanni Felluga decided to move to Friuli, and more precisely to Collio. Marco, the penultimate of Giovanni's seven children, continued the family business and founded the winery of the same name in 1956. To him, trained from a young age at the prestigious school of oenology in Conegliano, we owe the path of innovation, quality and research.
The balance with which he managed to combine innovation and tradition made his company a point of reference for the entire territory. Today, continuing along the path of absolute quality he traced is his son Roberto, who represents the fifth generation and who now runs both estates: Marco Felluga in Gradisca d'Isonzo (Gorizia) and Russiz Superiore in Capriva del Friuli (Gorizia).
Description
Friulano Russiz Superiore is a white wine endowed with great finesse and saline length, as well as a regional wine flagship. The bond between the Felluga family and their land of origin has deep roots, so much so that they can boast a veritable dynasty of winegrowers, who since the second half of the 19th century have been able to perceive and exploit the immense winegrowing potential of those borderlands, namely Istria and Collio, and consequently of their extraordinary indigenous grape varieties

Storage time:
2-3 years
