Dank seiner geografischen Lage ist das Valtellina ein \"Unikum\" in der italienischen Weinwelt: eine Insel in den Alpen mit Gebirgsketten, die bis in viertausend Meter H\u00f6he reichen, was bedeutet, dass das Klima nicht den klimatischen Eigenschaften des restlichen Italiens folgt. Wie schon im Jahr 2002 beweist das Valtellina, dass es die extremen klimatischen Bedingungen ausnutzen kann, dank des \"Chiavennasca\", einer Nebbiolo-Sorte, die f\u00fcr das Leben in den Bergen \"trainiert\" wurde und daher in der Lage ist, in kalten und schwierigen Jahrg\u00e4ngen sensationelle Antworten zu geben. Die Weinkellerei Nino Negri produziert den Sfursat seit 1956 durch Trocknung der Trauben. Der 5 Stelle ist der prestigetr\u00e4chtigste Sfursat und wird seit 1983 nur in g\u00fcnstigen Jahrg\u00e4ngen aus Nebbiolo-Trauben (Chiavennasca) hergestellt, dem gr\u00f6\u00dften terrassierten Weinberg Italiens.
